The film I have chosen to do is called Black Panther. I have chosen to write about this film because it is one of my favourite films ever made in the marvel industry. I have also chosen this because the first few scenes of the film are very interesting.
At the start of the film the first ever camera angle is used and this camera used is called a high angle. This high angle represents the earth that everyone lives in after this has been shown, a camera movement called Zoom is then done as it starts to zoom in on the earth, this then shows that something is about to happen.
Next another type of camera movement is in the scene and this camera movement is called the arc as when the main charcater is talking about the world he lives in the camera does arc to really show the view of the world. Then one different camera shot type comes into the scene and this is called an establishing shot this is when the main character finishes talking about his world.
Another camera shot type that happens in the opening of black panther is a close up for when black panther's dad comes in. This close up shot helps to show the charcaters emotions. After this close up shot, a long shot comes for when one of the characters find out something about the other character which then helps to create suspense in the film.
Another camera angle used in these opening scenes of the film is called a dolly where black panther is about to fight in the Nigerian forest to save someone he really cares about. This dolly creates tension for this scene as the camera is just following him around. A low angle is also used in the opening scenes of this film as this helps to show the characters looking up at the sky.
In terms of framing, one style of framing that was used in the opening scene of this film is called tight framing as there was some parts that involved loose framing and there were also some mid shots involved in the opening scenes of the film
